This week Steam had one of its weekend deals going on for a game called Orion: Dino Beatdown. At first I thought, jetpacks and dinosaurs? This game looks a little to out there for me. Usually I like to keep it semi realistic. However this game snatched me from the clocks of time and before I knew it time had gone by hours like it was only half an hour.
The game involves dinosaurs, obviously, which come in waves. You and your teammates are allowed to choose what you want to be, whether it be assault with a jet pack, a medic with well a medic gun but they also come with a nice ass shotgun. Or recon who come with a cloak. There are currently 3 maps but all are huge. Each map has 4 main bases and you and your team are free to go to any.

Now obviously there is upgrading and purchasing of weapons. Bases usually spawn with a few jeeps with a mounted gun however once you fix the bases generators you can access the many hubs available throughout the base. Some buy guns from revolvers and smgs, to laser rifles and rocket launchers. There are upgrades for armor, speed etc. And some bases have a vehicle depot which allow you to purchase some pretty cool vehicles.
As for the game itself, it is still a little buggy however I talked with one of the developers “Davey” and was assure that himself and the team are working to fix all the errors asap. The graphics are relatively good for what I was expecting. And no lag what so ever.

The only things I would improve are more types of dinosaurs, because there are only 3. T rex, pterodactyl, and raptors.
Anyways, long story short 7.7 out of 10 for me.
